Standard Membership

To be eligible for membership a person must:

• be a permanent resident of a Retirement Village registered in the State of Victoria,
• not be an owner, operator or manager of any Retirement Village nor shall they be a “close associate” as defined in the Retirement Villages (Amendment) Act 2005, of anyone in these positions.

Our membership year is from 1 July to 30 June.

Special Membership Offer

If you join between 1st April and 30th June 2026 your membership will start from the date you have joined (the last part of the 25/26 membership year), but will include the next year's membership (from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027) as well! Associate Membership

Associate membership is open to a person who:

• does not live in a Retirement Village but is interested in information provided by RRVV to its members, or
• has a family member living in a Retirement Village and is interested in information provided by RRVV to its members.
• Associate membership is not open to retirement village owners, operators or managers.
  

Whole of Village Membership

A village can elect to join as a "Whole of Village", where every resident is a member of RRVV and the overall payment is based on the number of units in the village.
